Getting Back on Track

After a crazy weekend last weekend, I missed chemo and we are trying to get back on schedule. Lori and I are back in Newnan today and we are waiting on chemo to start around 2:30. This being our 3rd week, I don’t have to have the Gemzar. That should put us heading out about 5PM. It will be nice to get home at a decent time tonight. All of my blood counts are looking good except my potassium. They are giving more to take and telling me to add more to my diet. I guess banana pudding would help. Haha. According to the scales at home I weighed 174 which means I am still gaining weight. I have never paid so much attention to scales in my life. It’s definitely more fun to gain weight than worry about losing.

Today has been a God given day. Sunshine, light breeze, mild temperatures, what else could you ask for. Please be in prayer for our Youth Pastor Bob Agan as he travels in Kenya and preaches and ministers to the people there. He is planting seeds that he prays will lead to opportunities for our youth to go and minister, too. Also, lift up Rev. Ned Steele and he is fighting his own battle with cancer. He is my step-mothers dad and has just recently been diagnosed.
